You are advised to ask (as a minimum) the following questions when comparing prices-
1) Are they FULLY QUALIFIED? (Believe it or not, some are only trainees and may not be up to the DSA's stringent standards)
2) What Grade Instructor are they? (1-3 are sub standard, 4 has some weaknesses, 5 is a good overall standard and 6 is exceptional)
3) What is their pass rate? (If they say they are unsure, you should be very suspicious. Good Instructors always know their pass rate)
4) Will you ALWAYS have the same Instructor throughout your training, guaranteed?
5) What car do they have? How old is it? What safety features does it have? Driving school cars typically cover 25-35,000 miles per year. An 8 year old car is likely to have covered around a quarter of a million miles! (See our car's features by clicking on the car at the top of this page).
6) What products can they offer to help you learn to drive safely and save you time and money overall? (See our resources page for details of our products)
