Introduction

When Driving School was started, enquiries for intensive style courses were becoming more frequent. With this in mind, L2D have been very keen to enhance teaching and learning methods for the students to reduce the amount of lessons required to drive safely and pass the practical test first time. As a result of this, the L2D Home Study Pack has been developed to assist with this process for both Intensive Courses and Weekly Lessons. This programme uses a fully illustrated step-by-step studybook and comprehensive DVD that is available for students to use.

You will also have the option to use of a variety of short video clips (for your PC) taken with our in car camera of some of the potentially difficult area's of Newbury that you may encounter when on your practical test. Most L2D students agree that these alone have assisted them prior to taking their practical tests.

You can watch your next lesson at home on the DVD and read the section in the studybook, saving you time when you are next in the car. Because you will be better prepared for the lesson subject, you are likely to accomplish the task more quickly, moving on to other tasks earlier than if using the more traditional methods. The use of this learning programme is particularly helpful to anyone who may have experienced learning difficulties at any time of their life, perhaps when at school. You will be able to watch each short section of the DVD as many times as you feel necessary to help your practical training.

Your Instructor will use lots of visual aids to help with your understanding of the lesson subjects. This includes all of the reversing manoeuvres.
